The Plan - RivailleXReader

 "Stupid Hanji," I seethed, kicking the bucket of water onto the just cleaned floor. "Stupid, stupid!" Sulking, I sat down where I was. Truethfully, I wasn't mad at her, how could I be? It was my fault for going along with her plan and being awarded the pleasure of cleaning duty, anyway. I just felt it better to blame someone other than me.

"Cadet (L/N), why is there water on the floor?"

My head shot up at the sound of the icy voice, eyes fixing on those of Lance Corporal Rivaille. He stood in the doorway, arms crossed and leaning on the frame. He regarded me coldly, waiting for an answer. I got up, dusting off my pants and giving him one. "I got mad, sir. I apologize, I'll clean it up immediately."

He sighed, watching as I picked up a mop and got to work. It was excruciatingly silent for a while, the only noise the sound of the mop soaking up the water. I didn't know what the coporal wanted, but I wasn't just about to ask, afraid of being rewarded another glorious cleaning duty.

"You know, (F/N)," he eventually said, breaking the silence. "If it wasn't for your... interesting prank, you wouldn't be in this mess."

I looked at him. "Excuse me, sir, but it was Hanji's idea, and you very well know that."

He smirked. "I know."

"Then why, pre tell, did you give me cleaning duty?"

He looked away, not meeting my eyes. "Do you really want to know, (F/N)?"

"Yes sir." I nodded.

He walked over to me, bending down a bit since I was shoter then him. "Levi."

"What?"

"You may call me Levi, Cadet." his warm breath tickled my cheek, sending shivers down my spine. He was so close, I could practically smell his aftershave.

"A-alright, Levi." I stuttered. "You um, never answered my question..?"

I could feel his breath as he got near and whispered in my ear, "I wanted quality time with you."

I could feel my eyes growing wide. I desperately tried to think of something to say to soothe the obvious embarrassment that I knew showed. But my mouth just opened and closed without a hint of sound. I finally surrendered and covered my face with my hands and blushed.

Levi lefted my chin with his finger, making me look him in the eye. They weren't cold and distant like they always were, instead I saw something else in them. Love.

"S-sir?" I whispered as his mouth drew closer to mine.

Our lips crashed together, filling me with warmth and happiness. His soft lips meshed perfectly with mine, and as I drew him close I could feel everything he was to afraid to show before. Wrapping his arms around my waist, he licked my lips, and I opened them greatfully. He explored every inch of my mouth, not missing one spot. We pulled away when we heard a startled yelp.

I looked behind Levi. Standing in the doorway with a startled look on his face was Jean, and standing next to him, Hanji smirked slyly.

"O-ohmygod!" Jean breathed out, blushing in embarrassment. "I'm so sorry!" he quickly raced out of the room, but Hanji stood rooted in place.

"I knew my plan would work~" she chirped happily.

"What plan?" I asked.

"To get you two together!" she answered. "You don't know how awkward it is to be near you two when you're shooting sex eyes at each other all the time. That's why I decided to come up with an ingenious plan!"

"Hanji! I'm going to kill you!" I squeaked.

"Not if you can't catch me first~!" she dashed out of the room, slamming the door closed.

Levi sighed. "How troublesome. Now, where were we?"
